Murfreesboro, Tennessee — February 9, 2018 — The Business Education Partnership Foundation will host the BEP Mini Masters Indoor Mini Golf Tournament from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 1st at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
According to BEP Executive Director Amelia Bozeman, the BEP Mini Masters event will provide a tongue-in-cheek take on the actual Masters Tournament with not-so-subtle Caddyshack overtones. “We are excited to announce the 2018 BEP Mini Masters, and we are thankful to partner with Bridgestone and the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund once again for this fun event, which will benefit BEP’s programs supporting public K-12 education throughout Murfreesboro and Rutherford County,” she said.
Shelly Morton, Community Relations Coordinator at Bridgestone’s La Vergne facility, said, “We are proud to partner with the BEP and be a sponsor of the Mini Masters tournament. Education is one of the three major focus points of the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund. We look forward to being a part of this event which will support the BEP programs in Rutherford County.”
BEP advisory board member and Mini Masters event chair Tara Stone is an enthusiastic supporter of the organization. “The Business Education Partnership Foundation plays an important role in our children’s education. BEP enriches both the Murfreesboro City and the Rutherford County School Systems through programs that connect academics to the real world and help prepare students for their future careers. The BEP Mini Masters is a fun opportunity to support the organization that benefits students throughout
our county,” she said.
In addition to 18 holes of putt-putt fun on three floors of the Chamber building, the BEP Mini Masters will feature Masters-themed food, fine craft beer from beverage sponsor Steel Barrel Brewing, prize drawings, trophies for winners, and a seventies costume contest. A variety of participation levels are available, including team registrations ($200 per foursome), golf hole sponsorships ($300) are available. “Gallery” tickets are available for $25 each; gallery ticket holders will be treated to food and drinks as they watch the competition. Proceeds from the Mini Masters will benefit BEP’s programs that support students, teachers, counselors, and principals in the Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County School Systems.
